⚡️As part of reducing the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor, on the night of May 1, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine once again struck the infrastructure of the Tuapse oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory, Russia.
Explosions and a fire were recorded on the territory of the enterprise. The extent of damage to the enemy’s energy rear facility is being clarified.
⚡️Over the past day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the facilities of the Perm oil refinery in the Perm Territory, Russia. Damage to the AVT-4 primary oil processing unit was confirmed, followed by a fire on the territory of the plant.
In addition, over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers successfully hit:
⚡️- anti-aircraft missile system “Buk-M3” in the vicinity of Olkhovatka, TOT Donetsk region;
⚡️- ammunition depots near Rozdolne, Donetsk region and the settlement of Rovenky in Luhansk region;
⚡️- material and technical equipment depot near Melitopol in Zaporizhia;
⚡️- UAV depot in the Dalny district of Belgorod region of the Russian Federation;

📝Oil pipelines under attack📝
Facilities attacked by the AFU since early April
The energy market remains difficult since the war began. While this brings costs to the West, Russian oil suppliers have gained revenue due to rising prices and weakening sanctions.
However, Ukrainian forces have increased attacks on Russian oil facilities since early April as part of their “economic pressure” strategy. They now target fuel transportation infrastructure more than refineries.
🔻What was targeted?
➡️Strikes focused on southern Russian regions. In Krasnodar Krai, the enemy attacked the Tuapse port’s oil terminal. In Krymsk, the eponymous pumping station was hit, affecting Black Sea port fuel transport.
➡️In Crimea, oil depots near Sevastopol, Glubokoye Yar, and Feodosia were targeted. Air defenses intercepted some drones, but some damage occurred.
➡️Facilities deeper in Russia were also attacked, including the Ufa refinery and Sterlitamak petrochemical plant.
🖍More attacks mean more hits, leading to enterprise shutdowns and losses. Kyiv seems intent on continuing these strikes as economic pressure.

Jonas Lauwiner, 31, has built what he describes as an ‘empire’ by claiming 148 ownerless plots of land scattered across Switzerland - including roads now used by homeowners.
The haul, acquired entirely legally, includes 83 stretches of road, giving him significant leverage over local communities and prompting several Swiss cantons to move to tighten rules amid fears others could copy him.
Under Swiss law, land officially registered as ownerless can be claimed free of charge simply by writing to the local council.
Such plots are rare and often consist of abandoned roads, small forest areas or land rejected during inheritance disputes.
But Lauwiner, who crowned himself ‘King’ when he was just 24, realised the obscure rule could be turned into a property business after painstakingly combing through land registries.
One road he acquired on a housing estate had reportedly been abandoned by a developer. He now charges maintenance fees to residents who use it.
He told Times Radio: ‘I am fair. I don’t shut the roads, and I do not charge much for them’.
As well as maintenance fees, he said he profits ‘by selling the right to construct near my road, and I sell the right of passage if there is a new house’.
Lauwiner compared his acquisitions to a ‘military campaign’, adding: ‘I do it digitally and without bloodshed’.
Lawyer Loris Fabrizio Mainardi launched legal action against Lauwiner, accusing him of ‘abusive exploitation’, although the lawsuit was later dismissed
Lauwiner insists he has done nothing wrong and says critics are missing the point.
‘It’s more than just a joke. I have created something new,’ he said.
Although widely described as a self-proclaimed monarch, Lauwiner argues the title was first invented by the media.
‘I was proclaimed by the German media,’ he said. ‘They said I was the King of Switzerland. I said, “this is smart”.’
Lauwiner fully embraces the image, posing in military-style royal uniforms and running what he describes as the ‘official website of] the King of Switzerland’.
His organisation also includes an Order of Merit, an ‘imperial bank’, and decommissioned military vehicles, including an old amphibious tank displayed outside a building he refers to as his ‘palace’ in Burgdorf.
